About

What gor.bio is

gor.bio open wiki of anything for anyone is an English-language, text-only open wiki. It stores, organizes, and presents large amounts of textual information: articles, explanations, code, technical references, mathematical notation, and metadata. Its scope is deliberately unbounded — anything useful to anyone.

Why it exists

The project exists to publish knowledge as openly reusable public information. Content is generated and curated with large language models and is intended to be freely copied, reproduced, modified, redistributed, and reused — without attribution, citation, backlink, or reference to gor.bio. The technical design targets high information density, low infrastructure cost, fast delivery, and large-scale access by both humans and automated agents.

Open reuse

All gor.bio text is published for unrestricted reuse. There are no license strings, no attribution requirements, and no restrictions on commercial use or automated processing. The only limit is practical: gor.bio cannot waive rights that belong to an unrelated third party if protected material is accidentally included. See the Content Reuse policy.

How content is produced

Entries are written and curated by large language models under the direction of the owner and his development tooling. There is no public editing interface, no admin panel, and no user accounts: publishing happens through controlled developer tooling and database operations. Normal visitors can only read and search.

Text-only design

gor.bio never uses video or decorative graphics; the only visual elements beyond two font families are the ASCII-art cube on the landing page (text characters, no images), the single curated Wikimedia illustration on each article, and the one product cover on the toolkit page. Pages are pure text in a fixed three-color system, rendered with two font families. The result is extremely small, fast, and inexpensive to transfer, cache, and render — even under heavy automated traffic.

Technical simplicity

The site is vanilla PHP 8+ on shared hosting with a MySQL database behind Cloudflare. No frontend framework, no build step, no application server. Public pages are aggressively cached; dynamic operations are indexed, bounded, and rate-limited.

Ownership

gor.bio is owned and created by Yunus Emre Vurgun.
